Violet Jones is a Freshman student at Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy. In her high school experience she hopes to look deeper into journalism and working on the yearbook. Violet has received numerous awards in dance such as Best Overall in the junior solo division, Best Interviewee, and frequent platinum scoring at competitions. Violet has also recieved scholarships from prestigious dance academies, such as Kaatsbaan Cultural Center for the Arts, The Joffrey Ballet, and The ROCK School for Dance Education. She spent her summer in Philadelphia at the ROCK School for Dance Education in partnership with Cabrini University, where she worked with world renowned ballet masters like Stephanie Spassoff, Ann White, and Jodi Anderson. Violet has goals to attend the University of Michigan as a dance major and later become a member of Allonzo King LINES ballet. Violet is interested in excelling in her high school career, which she will also express through journalism.
