Sylvia Scovera is a Sophomore at Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy. She joined the newspaper team for the first time this year and is already proving to have an impressive work ethic and dedication to the team. Her work ethic extends beyond the Journalism classroom and into her studies, as she has already taken on Advanced Placement European History and Pre-Calc as a sophomore. She is an avid reader, her favorite category being a mystery, and outside of school and reading, she is a volunteer with the Michigan Marching Band. The organization makes meals for people in the University of Michigan Marching Band. She was introduced to the program through her brother and has found the cause to be vital to her. She hopes to attend Embry Riddle Aeronautical University for aeronautics.
