Fall is a time for many fun activities like carving pumpkins, trick-or-treating, costumes, and more. One of my favorite things to do in fall is corn mazes and haunted attractions. This year I attended Bestmaze Corn Maze. 

Bestmaze Corn Maze has a standard corn maze as well as a separated haunted trail, known as the Trail of Terrors. This maze is one of the highest rated corn mazes, located in Williamston, Michigan. Every year, they design a new, scary trail for visitors to get lost in, as well as change the scenes in the Trail of Terrors to make sure that returning visitors don’t know what to expect. For this year, they designed a maze based on fairy tales. 

The corn maze is a fun way to get outside and get some fresh air. The three-mile long maze is also a great way to spend time with your family. The maze takes about 45 minutes to an hour and a half, depending on how much you get lost! Throughout the maze, there are signs to tell you that you’re going the right way, and there are also multiple helpers to help you in the right direction, either from above or on foot. There are also multiple emergency exits in the maze as well. The paths are well kept, but it is a lot of walking so I would recommend bringing a good pair of walking shoes. 

If you’re looking for a good scare, the Trail of Terrors is the place for you. There are many jump scares and spooky animatronics that will show up when you least expect it. The Trail of Terrors has a great lineup of actors that will leave you terrified, with many spine-chilling scenes to go through in the mile long trail, which takes about half-an-hour to complete. Many other haunted attractions have lost a lot of actors this past year, but the Trail of Terrors has managed to keep a full lineup of actors. The Trail of Terrors is separate from the corn maze, so you don’t have to worry about getting spooked if you don’t want to.

Bestmaze Corn Maze is a fun way to spend time with others while also not costing you a whole lot, compared to some of the other options. The regular maze costs $7 a person, and kids under the age 4 are free. The corn maze is just challenging enough to make you get lost, while also not taking too much time to complete. The Trail of Terrors is very fun, the actors will scare you, probably laugh at you, and fade off, they don’t harass you for long, making it a fun experience for everyone.
